Active Kids

Active Kids at Prairiewood Leisure Centre

Exercise and physical activity should be an important part of every child's development. Exercise combined with healthy eating will help in the physical development of children and provide positive practices for later life.

Realising the importance of this, Fairfield City Leisure Centres and the Children’s Hospital Institute of Sports Medicine (CHISM) created Active Kids.

Active Kids is an award-winning program that aims to provide children (6-12 years) with the opportunity to participate in regular, physical exercise in a fun and safe environment. Active Kids will educate children to adopt positive exercise habits into their future lifestyle.
